SHIPPING & HANDLING COST
1. Shipping Method
All items are shipped from Japan, where ART OF WAR is based.
We offer DHL and EMS as our standard shipping methods, and customers may choose their preferred option.
Please note that shipping methods may be limited depending on the product. For example, accessories
containing precious metals can only be shipped via DHL, as EMS does not accept such items.
Shipping services via DHL, and/or EMS may be unavailable or suspended for certain destinations.
In addition, EMS may not be available if the package exceeds size limitations set by the destination
country's customs regulations.
Due to international circumstances, shipments may occasionally be delayed. In such cases, we will notify
you via email or our newsletter.
2. Shipping, Handling & Insurance Costs
Shipping costs are automatically calculated at checkout.
However, for most pre-order items (such as statue), shipping fees will be determined after production is
completed and the final package weight is confirmed. An invoice including shipping and handling fees will
be issued at that time.
Handling fees and insurance charges are applied per package.
Please review these conditions carefully before placing a pre-order.
3. Shipment Tracking
A tracking number will be provided once your order has been shipped.
Online tracking is available for both DHL and EMS.

Please note that tracking information may take some time to become available after shipment.
For EMS shipments, we recommend checking the status via your local postal service's website as well.
4. Shipping & Handling Fee Details
All items are shipped from Japan.
Handling fees are charged per package.

Handling Fees
・Accessories and in-stock items: ¥1,000 per package
・Statues: ¥3,000 per package
Additional Fees
・Items valued over ¥200,000: Customs clearance fee of ¥2,800 (EMS only)
・EMS insurance:
Free up to ¥20,000
¥50 per additional ¥20,000
・DHL insurance: Cargo value x 110% x 0.2%.

5. Additional Charges
If shipping fees or final installment payments are not completed by the specified deadline, additional
charges will apply:
・ Storage fee: From ¥1,500 per day per box (varies depending on package size)
・ Transportation fee: Based on package size
If you require a delay in shipment due to personal reasons (e.g., travel or absence), please contact us
in advance so we can make appropriate arrangements.
6. Import duties and Taxes
Import duties, taxes, and other fees may be charged upon delivery, depending on the regulations of the
destination country. These charges are determined by local customs authorities and are beyond our control.
We recommend contacting your local custom office prior to placing an order if you have any concerns.
In accordance with legal requirements, we are unable to:
・ Undervalue shipments
・ Omit invoices
・ Ship without proper documentation
If a shipment is returned due to refusal to pay import duties or related charges, we regret that we cannot
offer reshipment or refunds.
The same policy applies in cases where the shipment is destroyed.
