SHIPPING & HANDLING COST
1. Shipping Method
All items are shipped from Japan, the location of the ART OF WAR company.
Generally we use DHL or EMS for shipping. Some shipping methods cannot be used for certain products.
For example, For accessories, only DHL is available since EMS does not accept precious metals.
Both EMS and DHL may not be able to handle some countries.
In addition, for EMS, there are size restrictions for packages depending on the country. So there may be cases where EMS cannot be used. In cases, we will contact you.
Please note that changes in international conditions may make it impossible to ship from Japan, in which case we will notify you via news or email.
2. Shipping & Handling Cost
Shipping cost will be automatically calculated by this system.
But for most of the pre-order items of statue, shipping cost will be charged separately after we get the total weight of the package.
We will send another invoice to charge for the shipping & handling cost when the items are finished.
Please kindly note about this cost before purchasing any pre-order items of statue.
Handling Cost is
・Accessories and stock items: 1,000yen per order
・Statues: 3,000yen per order
・For items over 200,000 yen: When using EMS, for items over 200,000 yen we must submit a declaration form. Therefore, a separate declaration fee of 2,800 yen will be charged.
・EMS's insurance premiums: Free of charge up to 20,000 yen for total. After that, an additional charge of 50 yen per 20,000 yen will be added.
・DHL's insurance premium is: Cargo value x 110% x 0.2%.
3. Shipping Status Tracking
We will send you a tracking number after shipping.
Online tracking is available for both DHL and EMS.

*Sometimes there will be a delay on checking the information. We also suggest every customer to check the status on the Official Site of customer's local Post Office.

Handling Cost and Other Fee
・Accessories and stock items: 1,000yen per order

5. Extra Charging Fee
If shipping charges are not paid by the scheduled shipping date, or if shipping is delayed for customer's
personal reasons, following extra costs will apply.
Storage fee : 1,500 yen per day per box
*Transportation fee: depends on the size of the box
* The storage fee will be calculated according to the package size
* Extra fee only happens for delivery delay caused by customers’ personal reasons.
For example:
1. Cannot finish the final payment after the item is ready for shipping.
2. Go to travel for over and cannot find anyone to pick the item. If we are notified in advance, we will consider handling storage at no charge.
6. Import duties and related charges
Customers may be charged import duties and related fees when receiving the products. These charges are determined by customs of the customer's country and AOW has no control over them.
If you are concerened, we recommend that you check with customs before placing orders.
We are by law unable to undervalue shipments, also unable to put the invoice documents inside parcels, or ship products without an invoice.
If the product be returned because customer refuses to pay for the duties & related charges, we will not resend the product nor refund for any part of the payment.
*The same applies in the case of destruction.
