BERSERK 20th Anniversary Statue was one of ART OF WAR's popular items. It sold out immediately after releasing, and there were many requests for reproduction of this attractive item, so ART OF WAR decided to choose BERSERK 20th Anniversary Statue as our latest repainting project.
BERSERK 20th Anniversary Statue is a large-scale statue for commemorating the 20th anniversary of Berserk; the length of Guts' sword is around 41cm. Although it was very hard to represent a feeling of speedy movement in heavy armor, after revising the mold over and over again, we finally completed this incredible work. And we pursued the details of the armor's edges. You can feel this statue is powerful through the movement of brandishing such a heavy sword.
In addition, one of the main features of this repainting project is the lively feeling when Guts got blood over his whole body. In order to express the image of erosion by the armor and an atmosphere of harsh battle, we added a great amount of blood being running down Gut's whole body, even through the crack of armor. Those delicate expressions of blood on this statue generate a massive and overwhelming feeling.
